The Earthworld Emperor was a highly respected and wise leader until he died due to sickness shortly after Wein became regant.

Appearance[]

Personality[]

The Earthworld Emperor is described as a smart and wise leader, and a hard worker, managing to expand the empire and taking control of the East, greatly increasing the power of his state. The emperor is known to be hardworking, as despite being in the bottom of the succession pool, managed to inherit the crown through talent and hard work. This led him to believe that his first son should also work hard to inherit the crown but when he didn't, the emperor grew displeased and didn't announce an heir. The emperor did believe in meritocracy, except for women, as he believes they should not get involved in politics and instead be good at tasks like signing and painting. Despite this he still does care for his two daughters.

Background[]

Once he inherited the crown, the emperor expanded the Empire to engulf all of the East, making it the greatest power in the region. It was said he planned to unite the entire Varno continent, and wished to access the West through Natra, but got sick so his plans had to be put up on hold. Meanwhile he tried to make his first son/prince work hard to deserve the throne, so he asked his sons a very hard question that none of them could answer except for the 2nd princess. This led the emperor to stop allowing the 2nd princess to get involved with politics, out of his sense of belief that women shouldn't be involved with politics. Also in order to encourage the first prince to work hard to deserve the crown, he didn't announce him as successor, which led the 2nd and 3rd prince to scheme and take power. When the emperor fell ill, the court went into chaos and the princes began fighting for power. When the emperor managed to wake up and speak to his sons, he was angry at them for none of them managed to be talented enough to take control of the court and didn't take the time to announce a successor. Unfortunately for the emperor, he fell ill again and then died, leading the Empire to a succession crisis, but due to the emperor's good management of the empire, the empire didn't fracture during the infighting yet.
