Description[]
Cavarin borders Marden to the north and flanked by the Giant’s Backbone to the east. She enviously eyed Marden’s rich ore deposits. Thanks to the constant threat of foreign invasion by its neighbors, Marden had to strike a delicate balance between offensive and defensive forces. This was a perennial issue among warring nations.
History[]
The war between Marden and Natra stripped many of their troops from Cavarin Kingdom's border, thus allowing Cavarin to invade Marden, killing most of the Marden Royals in the taking of their capital, and capturing Marden.
The King of Cavarin invites Prince Wein of Natra to participate in a holy festival. During the meeting, Prince Wein kills the king and frames it on General Levert. The city breaks out in riots.
General Levert pursues the entourage, but they are checked by Natran rebels (Who are planning to kill Prince Wein as he returns from Cavarin). A pincer move by the Marden Freedom Forces and a force led by formerly retired General Hagal of Natra, leads to the deaths of the Cavarin forces and the rebels.[1]
Cavarin ceeds all of their Marden territories and signs a peace treaty with Natra.
